This is a Pool process with permanent and fixed term, part time opportunities
Currently, there is 1 permanent part time (45 hours per fortnight) position available for immediate filling.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and cultivating the volunteer network to build volunteer capacity for the Centre. The Volunteer Coordinator will work with staff to develop and implement volunteer activities and processes that support and enhance the Centre’s activities. Further, the Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, screen, orient, arrange training and match volunteers appropriately to programs, events and activities, will keep accurate records of volunteers and volunteer time as well as coordinate volunteer recognition activities.

Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent and fixed term, part time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities. Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies at similar locations, with the Department of Justice for the duration of the pool.

ELIGIBILITY
