Duties and Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality, persuasive copy for digital media campaigns, website content, email campaigns, media releases, as well as other marketing materials tailored specifically for the finance and accounting sector.
- Brand Voice Maintenance: Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging to maintain our brand identity and effectively resonate with our target audience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives and strategies.
- Research: Conduct thorough research to understand target audience demographics, industry trends, and competitor activities, leveraging insights to inform content development.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and refine copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines, while also identifying and correcting any grammatical or typographical errors specific to finance and accounting terminology.
- Adaptability: Quickly adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Feedback Incorporation: Actively seek and incorporate feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of copywriting efforts.
- SEO Integration: Collaborate with team members to incorporate relevant keywords and optimise copy for search engine visibility and ranking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Creativity and the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
- Proficiency in SEO principles and practices.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also capable of working independently.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines.
