The Corporate Actions Team is responsible for processing a diverse range of domestic and international Corporate Actions such as schemes of arrangements, demergers, takeovers and buy-backs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing Corporate Actions across a wide range of markets, including both ASX and international listed securities
- Verifying Corporate Actions such as rights issues, consolidations and dividends, have been uploaded via feeds from our information providers
- Analysing corporate action documents such as scheme booklets and takeover statements to determine taxation implications and processing requirements
- Maintaining databases of upcoming Corporate Actions and monitor websites for updates
- Maintaining daily dividends and distributions
- Adding new securities to the database, ensuring pricing and corporate action history is correct.
- Responding to customer queries in relation to Corporate Actions
- 2-3 years previous Corporate Actions experience
- Tax knowledge is highly desirable
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to quality check your own work to a high standard
- Tech savvy with a good knowledge of MS Office Suite and very comfortable with common cloud-based software, as well as audio/video conferencing platforms like Slack, Teams
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, perform under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with experience dealing directly with clients
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work
- Tertiary qualifications and/or be RG146 compliant desirable
- A desire to learn new skills and development
