Gastronomy is seeking an experienced Corporate Boardroom Waiter to provide high level customer service at our client’s CBD premises. 

THE PERSON 

We are looking for a hospitality professional who thrives on creating memorable experiences and excelling customer expectations. You will have a high standard of personal presentation with a strong work ethic and a flexible, efficient approach. 

You will be proactive, have excellent time management skills, the ability to think on your feet and juggle multiple things at once – always with a smile.

You will have a welcoming personality and understand the importance of being discreet with the ability to keep calm under pressure whilst ensuring Corporate standards are upheld. 

THE POSITION

This position is Full time, Monday - Friday based in Southbank working for our Corporate client. This is a hands on role that involves building client and customer relationships. 

Duties will include setting up meeting rooms, servicing events such as formal lunches, cocktail parties, reception coverage and plated dinners along with the daily service of teas and coffee to the meeting room floor. The ability to make Barista style coffee is a must and reception experience is highly regarded.

MINIMUM criteria to apply

  • Permanent resident or citizen of Australia / New Zealand with full working rights (other VISA's will be considered depending on your unlimited VISA restrictions)
  • 3+ years boardroom service experience
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment
  • Ability to make exceptional barista coffee
  • Current RSA Certification
  • Intermediate Admin skills 
  • Availability to work on days/evening shifts
