The culture at this firm is quite social, lively & dynamic, and they have enjoyed significant sustained growth & success in more recent times! They are now looking to appoint a new and talented Corporate Commercial Lawyer at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level to join a very busy, stable & collegiate Corporate team working closely with very approachable Partners and more broadly across the corporate practice.
About this role...
Joining a collaborative team of high performance Lawyers with proven & extensive expertise in Corporate Commercial matters, this role will offer the opportunity to engage closely with key clients & Partners across areas including:-
- M&A transactions and advisory in a variety of industries, including renewable energy;
- Corporate governance and director duties advice;
- Business set up, structuring, shareholder agreements and related documentation;
- Commercial contracting;
- Retail Funds Management/Superannuation; Financial Services;
- Capital raising & equity structuring;
- ASX listed enquiries and investigations;
- Joint ventures; public/private debt & equity offerings;
- Contract drafting relating to a variety of transactional matters;
- Competition & regulatory advice (ACCC, FIRB, ACL etc.)
- Taxation and revenue (incl. liaising with regulatory bodies).
To be successful in this role it is envisaged that you will have a min. of 5 years post admission experience in a similar role, within a recognised Commercial law practice. Solid academics are desirable, together with outstanding communicationand networking skills.
