Job Title: Tax Senior Accountant - Part Time

Position Type: Part-Time (3 days - Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Part-Time Senior Tax Accountant will manage a range of financial accounting tasks, including:
- Preparation of Income Tax Returns (e.g., Investment Properties, CGT)
- Compilation of End of Year Financial Statements for SMEs & SMSFs
- Handling Business and Instalment Activity Statements (BAS & IAS)
- Managing Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT)
- Promptly addressing client queries and liaising with authorities as needed
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Australian public practice
- Proficiency with ACCESS HandiSoft (preferred but not essential)
- Familiarity with Cloud and Desktop-based software like Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, and Reckon (preferred)
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and adept at managing deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree (Bachelor of Business/Accounting) or Advanced Diploma (TAFE) in Business/Accounting
- Australian or NZ citizenship or permanent residency required
