The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Communications & Campaigns Advisor to join our External Communications team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months (parental leave cover).
Reporting to the External Communications Manager, you will provide strategies, plans, content and advice across Corporate Communications, marketing and brand to enhance Melbourne Water's reputation, and support its marketing and brand goals.
This will be achieved through:
- Leads and delivers evidence-based marketing campaigns targeting Melbourne Water's brand customer segments, using the 'Story of Melbourne Water' guide and other resources.
- Champions Melbourne Water's brand strategy by articulating its brand narrative and themes in multi-media content across external and internal channels.
- Creates and delivers proactive and reactive communication plans and content - aligned to marketing and brand goals - that enhance Melbourne Water's reputation across Victoria.
- Proven experience in delivering marketing campaigns and Corporate Communications plans that support marketing and brand goals, and enhance reputations.
- Exceptional writing skills including spelling and grammar, and an innate ability to convey and evolve Melbourne Water's 'voice' along with its narratives and key messaging.
- Demonstrated project management expertise to create, track and deliver communications across multiple channels in complex and time-sensitive environments.
- A critical thinker who can strategise marketing and communications concepts, and create the plans, tactics and content to deliver them successfully.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior external and internal stakeholders on Corporate Communications, marketing and brand projects.
