OPPORTUNITY

Approximately two thirds of Carriageworks revenue is self-generated, and developing public and private partnerships is a core priority for our strategic business growth.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will work with the Head of Development to grow new and existing partnerships to support Carriageworks’ priorities. This role is part of the Development team, and there may at times be crossover of duties to support philanthropy and fundraising, as required.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will build strong relationships with the private sector, and ensure the delivery of agreed benefits, activations, and follow-up reports of key Corporate Partnerships. This specific role manages the identification, approaches, and contracts with sponsors, both new and within the existing Corporate Partnerships portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DAY TO DAY

  • Identify and secure strategically aligned multi-year Corporate Partnerships that deliver genuine financial and/or in-kind benefits for Carriageworks and its programs.
  • Work with the Head of Development to develop annual income targets for Corporate Partnerships.
  • Effectively manage the existing Corporate Partnerships portfolio and relationships and ensure all contract obligations are met, and measurable results achieved.
  • Work collaboratively with programs teams to evaluate the success of sponsorship activations for internal and external reports.
  • Develop the presentation materials required to grow new or existing sponsorship opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Development team to ensure coordinated approaches to the private sector to maximise all sponsorship opportunities.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing team ensure that the outcomes of partnerships are promoted and properly acknowledged.

PREFERRED CRITERIA

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Experience managing Corporate Partnerships, demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts and servicing partnership agreements.
  • High-level of proficiency using PowerPoint to develop successful sponsorship proposals and reports.
  • Strong administration skills to deliver sponsor activations and engagement.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high quality customer service.
  • Ability to effectively operate with enthusiasm and flexibility in a fast paced, agile (small) team environment.
