About the role
Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, and the upcoming transition of a major high-profile client, Securitas has an opportunity for experienced Corporate Security Officers to join our business and work for an extremely well-known Global client in our Darwin NT location.
The Corporate Security Officer must be able to implement quality security services, embedded operational best practices, standard administrative policies and customer service. This is a fulltime role Monday to Thursday based in Darwin NT, those with a strong customer service background experience are encouraged to apply.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and customer service skills
- Security systems training
- Internal and external customer relations
- Compliance of all relevant company policies and procedures
- Protection of building occupants, protection of real and personal property
- Maintain civil order, especially during facility emergency conditions.
- Report writing and Site patrol duties.
- Patrol and respond to incidents around the site.
- Greet visitors and employees and assist as appropriate.
- Ensure visitor, employee, contractor and vendor access compliance.
- Familiarity and knowledge of MS Office products
- Strong people and customer services skills
- Excellent observational skills
- Must have above average understanding of the English language.
- Exceptional presentation
- A strong professional work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service experience is essential.
- Conflict resolution and negation skills required.
- Must be punctual and responsible.
