What you'll do:
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading client service teams, providing commercial tax advice, advising on M&A transactions, conducting research and analysis of case law and legislation, reviewing income tax returns and provisions. You will also play a key role in managing and developing junior staff members while delivering in-house technical training to the wider team. This position offers exposure to a variety of industries and an opportunity to work closely with partners on complex tax matters.
Leading client service teams and managing service delivery to clients.
Providing commercial tax advice to clients, including identifying and resolving tax issues.
Advising clients on M&A transactions including structuring of transactions and conducting tax due diligence.
Research and analysis of case law and legislation.
Review of income tax returns and provisions.
Manage and develop junior staff members and deliver in-house technical training to the wider team.
What you bring:
The ideal Corporate Tax Manager will bring a strong academic background with a degree in Business/Commerce/Finance with an Accounting major along with completed CA or equivalent. She will have 5-7 years' experience in tax advisory, preferably within professional services. She will demonstrate strong leadership skills with previous experience managing and developing junior team members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Above all, she will have excellent client service skills.
Business / Commerce / Finance degree with Accounting Major
Completed CA or equivalent
5-7 years' experience in tax advisory, with some experience in Professional Services
Previous experience managing and developing junior team members
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
