One of the world's leading independently-owned and managed accounting, advisory and consulting firms, is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to serve as Manager or Senior Manager for its growing Corporate Taxation Division within its Sydney office. The role:
- Manage overall client engagement including relationship management, tax compliance and advisory.
- Expert utilisation of a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
- Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery
- Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
- Manage the team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team’s knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.
- Managing multi-jurisdiction teams and coordination with other experts engaged in the project.
- Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia
- At least 5+ years’ experience with Corporate Tax and Advisory, with strong technical skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar and completed CA/CPA/CTA qualifications;
- A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Proactive approach to client relationships and cross-selling of services, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Previous experience leading, coaching and mentoring less experienced team members
