The tax services team are seeking a dedicated and committed Corporate Tax specialist to join as a high level Senior with 4+ years experience looking to progress to Manager within 6-12 months.
Located in brand new Perth CBD office space, the firm provide their staff with everything required to enjoy an enriched work/life career.
The successful applicant will gain exposure to a range of tax advisory and compliance matters for clients across a variety of industries, including but not limited to the resources industry.
Key responsibilities:-
- Preparation and review of Australian Tax compliance;
- Liaising and consulting with internal stakeholders and clients from a range of industries, providing complex tax advice for local and international businesses;
- Assisting in liaising with the Australian Taxation Office in respect of taxpayer ruling requests and disputes;
- Strengthening existing client relationships, and developing new client relationships;
- Assessing engagement risk and applying commercially astute decisions; and
- Providing technical training and mentoring to junior staff in the Corporate Tax Team.
- Effectively managing clients to ensure valuable service delivery and strong ongoing relationships;
To be considered for this position you will possess the following:
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Commerce, with an Accounting or Finance major;
- Qualified as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent;
- 4+ years' experience in providing Corporate Tax advice is desirable;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; and
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
