About the Position and Experience Required:
- Tertiary qualification specifically related to this position
- Established hands-on experience in this, or closely aligned field
- Scaling up from lab for production
- New product development, formulating, documenting iterations
- Initial training in compounding (as a backup)
- Compound QA testing
- Writing department procedures
- Scheduling sample preparations, product testing, monitoring stability
- Quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- Analyse and investigate new raw materials, material compatibility and product performance
- Planning and execution of validation processes for raw materials and packaging components in conjunction with QA
- Maintaining integrity of laboratory systems to a high degree
