Responsibilities:
- Establishing production procedures for new products
- Prepare laboratory-scale batches
- Assist with troubleshooting batch production problems
- Optimising formulations and/or production procedures for existing products
- Modify and approve formulations, product specifications and manufacturing procedures
- Actively communicate with contract customers, suppliers, and various departments
- Facilitate and oversee scale-up of new products
- Formulation development of complementary medicines/cosmetic creams, lotions, gels and liquids
- Assisting QA/QC in the evaluation of raw materials, including regulatory and safety compliance
- Assisting QA in handling customer complaints
- Assist with customer requests for formulation and regulatory information
Requirements:
- Diploma in Personal Care Formulation or a degree in Science or Chemistry
- Hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation
- Experience with scale-up from laboratory to full-scale manufacture
- Genuine ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team
- Working knowledge of GMP
- Knowledge of TGA and ACO compliance is an advantage
