Primary Location
You will be creating and maintaining budgets and schedules on the project whilst also providing progress reports against work schedules.

Reporting Line: Project Controls Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely cost reports including variance analysis and progress and resolution of issues that may cause delay and or further cost.
- Create and implement project control plans, policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practises.
- Support successful procurement of goods and services.
- Attend project meetings with management and key stakeholders and ensure consistent utilisation of Project control tools, systems and upskilling of project engineers.
- Provide direct support and functional guidance to the Project delivery teams to achieve business and Project goals and objectives.
- Maintain effective relationships to assist the project manager manage client expectations.
About You
While an ideal candidate would have a background in a comparable engineering role within the Utilities Infrastructure/Civil Construction industries, this is not a strict requirement. The emphasis is on finding an individual who can demonstrate:
- Proven Experience: Track record as a Project Accountant supporting construction projects.
- Comprehensive Skills and Expertise: Proficiency in project accounting, Cost Control, and project management.
- Exposure and Proficiency: Familiarity with generating cost tracking reports.
- Proficient in Technical Skills: Familiarity with the MS Office Suite, and a bonus if skilled in project planning software like MSP or P6.
- Educational Background: Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or a similar discipline would be advantageous.
