Job DescriptionAbout the positionThe Quality Officer will specialise in instituting and maintaining of Quality Management System (QMS) documentation with respect to compliance with ISO 9001. Manage new tools and instruments and external calibrations.The Quality Officer's responsibilities includes writing and revising technical documents (policies, procedures, work instructions, internal standards, test reports and specification).Primary Duties:As our Quality Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Adhere to quality management principles and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Standard.
• Develop and maintain documentation by understanding its application and interaction to defence standards, internal company standards and ISO 9001.
• Perform the receiving and final inspection of the products as per the technical specifications.
• Participate and conduct the internal calibration of tools and equipment.
• Identify any non-conformances and coordinate with the stakeholders for action.
• Provide support during regulatory inspections, supplier audits, customer audits & ISO 9001 Audits.

Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouTo be successful in the role you need to be detail oriented; well-organised and having strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be easily able to work cooperatively with other teams and individuals. You will be required to met tight deadlines while having attention to details and search for solution wherever required.You will have:

• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role.
• Strong ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage expectations confidently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships and facilitate effective communication.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Quality principles and practices.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and process improvement methodologies

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in applicable field of study (desired).

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, document management systems such as SharePoint
• Ability to perform CMM measurements and sound knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance is preferred.
• Previous experience in quality inspections.
