The Role
Genus Industrial Services is looking for a Cost Controller for Aldoga Solar Farm - Sub Station located 20km Northwest of Gladstone on the Gladstone-Mount Larcom Road.
Project overview / Scope Of Work
Genus Industrial Services have been engaged by Acciona for the Design and Construction of the Substation Works for the Aldoga Solar Farm Project located outside to the West of Gladstone, Qld.
Genus will perform all design, supply, installation, construction, testing and commissioning of the PV plant substation, comprising all civil and electrical works.
Project Hours and duration:
0700h – 1700h (Mon-Sun)
12 month project
Experience, skills and knowledge
Experience in cost control on previous construction projects
Thorough understanding of all aspects of Cost management, budgets, variation, estimating, claims
Develop and maintain cost plans, budget monitoring and forecasting tools, reporting to PM and finance dept

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within construction, mining or resources.
Skilful in effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent leadership experience and skills in advising and coaching diverse stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word; PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated use of Cloud Based Safety Management Systems.
