What You Will Be Doing
Applications are sought from experienced counsellors who are either registered Psychologists with AHPRA, or Social Workers with eligibility for membership of the AASW who have experience in therapy/counselling.
• Provide high quality counselling and group work
• Contribute positively to a team dedicated to innovation and excellence
• Commit to ongoing staff development, clinical supervision and professional development that enhances the counselling service for the target population

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Psychologists require registration with AHPRA / Social workers need to be eligible for membership of the AASW.
• Demonstrated, substantive experience providing counselling to adults, young people, children and families in a community setting.
• Highly skilled in delivering evidence-based therapies, particularly in relation to high prevalence mental health disorders, chronic health conditions, and to clients from across the age span.
• Creativity and flexibility in adapting therapy to ensure the service is appropriate to clients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
• Sound understanding of trauma and family violence and its impact on all family members.
• A post-graduate qualification in counselling, family therapy or equivalent is desirable
• Current Victorian driver's license

*Please refer to salary circular for Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Employers Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026) or Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
