The Haemophilia Foundation ACT is an organisation established to provide advocacy and support to people with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders and their families in the ACT and surrounding districts.
We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated person to provide social services and counselling to the bleeding disorders community that we represent. The successful applicant should have relevant qualifications including current WWVP registration. Ideally the successful applicant has some experience working with people with chronic conditions, an understanding of Hepatitis C and HIV issues, as well as experience dealing with arthritis and long-term chronic illness. Further training and development in these areas will be provided.
This is a part time position requiring the successful applicant to work 12-14 hours per week (with some flexibility) within home, community and hospital environments. The successful applicant will find this position challenging and rewarding.
