About The Company
Our client is a growing family-owned business that sells supplies for all building needs. They are located in the South and North of Adelaide with a team of well-trained staff, who combined have over 20 years' worth of experience in the technical know-how of building materials and the industry.
About The Opportunity
As a Counter Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing a high level of service to the extensive trade customer base. You will assist customers at the service counter, handle phone inquiries and orders and utilise your expert product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction.
This is a Casual full-time position with the possibility of a full-time permanent role for the right candidate. The schedule is Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings and you may be required to assist the store in Green Fields occasionally.
Applicants who have hands-on experience in building, fasteners, steel roofing and flashings or associated trades will be well suited to this position.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in general building and/or products or related industry
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills and Great customer service abilities
- A professional and presentable appearance and a sense of humour
Ideally, you will also have:
- Extensive knowledge of building products and fasteners and their use (desirable)
- Knowledge of sales and power tools (desirable)
