About the Role
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering quality education and has exposure in Coordinating Nursing courses and/or in a Senior Training role within the Nursing & Education sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Coordinator (Diploma of Nursing) and the CEO in managing the successful running of the Diploma of Nursing course from our Melbourne campus.
In this role, you will coordinate processes and activities in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of teaching materials and will provide support to the Program Coordinator (Diploma of Nursing) in ensuring programs' meet regulatory compliance and quality requirements. You will be willing to teach on a part time basis, as well as provide support to the Diploma of Nursing training team, assist with timetable, staffing requirements, staff inductions as required, and interact with staff from other departments, the Clinical Placement team, and external stakeholders to ensure vocational competence to the course is assessed and maintained. Key to the role is your teaching experience and educational leadership ability that effectively promotes teaching and learning, and the use of innovative and flexible teaching methods in the related cluster.
Skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience required:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its equivalent
- Post-graduate qualification in Nursing
- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous experience within an RTO environment is essential
- Previous exposure to ANMAC submissions would be advantageous
- Previous experience as a Senior Trainer or Course Coordinator would be advantageous
- Minimum 12 - 24 months' experience as a Trainer/Assessor
- Ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team
- Ability to work with others to provide and assist in professional and skills development
- Current industry knowledge and experience
- Current Police Check
