ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Course Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the promotion and delivery of the course
- Manage resources that may include staff and budgets to improve productivity
- Lead, monitor and report to the Academic Quality and Courses Committee, and the Higher Education Academic Board as required on the delivery of the course according to Chisholm’s higher education policies, procedures
- Enhance the student experience to improve engagement and assist learners in interacting with their academic and social environment to reduce attrition and increase course completion
- Engage with employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content meet industry and employer needs
- Work collaboratively with industry to align current and emerging industry needs and facilitate relevant and responsive delivery models to engage learners.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualification/s required for the role
You will have a post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline (Master, PhD) and demonstrated excellence in teaching in higher education.
