EPSA is seeking a Crane Operator to be employed by the company on a full-time permanent basis. This is your chance to unlock your full potential and make a lasting impact. You will, working with high performing team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
- Operating 28t Pick & Carry, Rough-Terrain Cranes, All-terrain Cranes
- Positioning and repositioning loads
- Performing scheduled preventative and routine maintenance
- Assist with general maintenance and trade assistant activities
- To operate cranes within machine capacity and associated support equipment.
- To ensure cranes are operated safely and in accordance with Company procedures.
- Ensuring equipment is treated with respect, kept in a serviceable and clean condition, and operated safely in accordance with procedures and OEM specifications.
- Report all accident damage as soon as discovered to your supervisor.
- Conduct thorough pre-start inspections on equipment and vehicles before use.
- Review the tasks allocated and suggest improved methods of carrying out the work.
- Participate in continual improvement activities.

To be successful you will have:
- Current Standard 11
- Current Manual Australian driver’s licence (mandatory)
- Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to complete a Pre-Employment Medical
- Relevant tickets and current Forklift License
- Must have Working at Heights – validity two years from date of issue.
- Previous experience in mining operations
- You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
