Freo Group is Australia's largest provider of crane hire services and project material logistics management in Australia. The company provides crane hire, heavy lift, project logistics management, oversize transport, materials handling, warehousing, and storage with support bases located acrossAustralia.
Freo Group are looking to fill the position of a Supervisor leading onsite activities with our dedicated crew, and pricing new and ad hoc work. This is a full-time position with coverage across Western Australia, primarily based from our Newman Depot working onsite with our mining clients.
Reporting to the General Manager and Superintendent, the successful candidate will be energetic, dedicated to excellence, with a safety first and always mentality. In leading daily activities for and with our clients, the Supervisor ensures our clients, team members and branch work harmoniously and toindustry best-practice standards.
Accountabilities of the role include (not limited by):
- Ensuring compliance and adherence to company and client safety regulations and procedures ensuring zero harm
Take positive steps in relation to the identification of hazards and risks ensuring reporting as required by the company and client.Visit clients regularly for orders and perform site inspections
Conduct Prestart and Toolbox talks with CrewsProvide clients with pricing and quoting information and follow up
Ensure all crew members are performing their role to company standards
Ensure that job dockets are processed correctly and in a timely manner
Ensure that plant and equipment is available and fully utilised.Provide hands on assistance on site in the form of supervision, demobilisation and mobilisation of Mobile CranesEnsure Allocations are at all times prepared for expected works.

- Current Driver's License
- High Risk License (Minimum RIand/or C6) (preferred not essential)
- Industry-recognised supervisor qualifications (preferred not essential)
- Experience and knowledge of Mobile Cranes and equipmentExceptional Planning and diligence associated with preparation/delivery
- A drive to exceed expectations and to push for results
- Soundcomputer literacy skills, including fleet care software
- Strong ability to solve problems and reach outcomes
- Excellent communication, customer service and articulation in trying circumstances.
