Strait Up Cranes is currently looking for a Crane Supervisor for an immediate start in Mudgee. The Crane Supervisor position is a multi-faceted role which not only includes the tasks of coordinating and managing the Crane Operators, Riggers and Dogmen, but also includes operating cranes and rigging activities. The role requires:
- Supervisory experience including coordinating and managing Crane Operators, Riggers and Dogmen on all crane and rigging requirements and activities. Provide direction and guidance to the crane operators and rigging personnel onsite.
- Coordinating the Operations of Cranes and Lifting Activities including monitoring that Safe Operations are adhered too.
- Ability to motivate, manage and delegate to a workforce of crane operators, riggers and dogmen.
- Managing Client Relations including strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in Crane and Rigging Operations or Lifting Activities Sectors.
- Shutdown Planning & Execution.
- Operate cranes and rigging when required.
- Undertake audits on paperwork by crane operators, riggers and dogmen and ensure the company safety and business standards are met.
The qualifications required include:
Essential
- Supervisors Training (S1, S2 and S3) – preferred but not necessary as we can provide access to training.
- High Risk Work Licence (RI, DG, CO).
- “White Card” Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
- Driver’s License HR (Heavy Rigid).
- Basic Computer Skills.
Preferred but not essential
- HC (Heavy Combination) Licence.
- RA Licence.
- Reasonable Mechanical Understanding.
- High Safety Focus.
