This role sits within the Commercial Solutions Department which is responsible for growing and retaining partnership relationships with a focus on providing innovative solutions to our stakeholders. The role specifically sits in the marketing team and reports directly to the Head of Marketing and Brand.
We're looking for a Creative Content Specialist to help us end-to-end in developing amazing content and stories for our customers and network. The Creative Content Specialist will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Brand to crafting visually appealing and compelling content that supports the marketing strategy. This will include the ability to write, produce and publish compelling educational material, resources and for key audiences.
In this role you will own the whole process - generating insights through using data, identifying customer segments, pinpointing where we target our messaging and the messaging we're sharing, through to creating copy and designing the final content product.
This would suit someone with a strong background in Marketing Analytics who has experience and passion for converting insights into key messaging, storytelling opportunities and creating our story.

Content creation
- Develop creative and persuasive copy for editorial, marketing campaigns, advertising and promotional materials across multiple channels
- Write clear, concise and engaging content for websites, landing pages and social media to driver user engagement and conversion
- Craft compelling headlines, taglines that capture attention and communicate key messages effectively
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity and adherence to brand voice and brand guidelines
- Adapt writing style and tone to suite difference audiences and platforms, while maintaining brand consistency
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on related industry related topics from home ownership, home buyer attitudes and behaviours, mortgage broking and lending industry
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics for content creation
- Liaise with legal regarding signoff and approval process to ensure that all content is compliant with appropriate copyright and data protection laws
Content design
- Create engaging, brand aligned content across various formats articles, blogs, case studies, infographics, fact sheets, faqs, video scripts, presentations and social media content.
- Ensure high quality content is fit for a range of purposes from web, digital, social, video, email, print
- Optimise content and graphics for search engines, platforms and devices, ensuring seamless integration and optimal user experience
- Use analytics to track content performance and user engagement, leveraging insights to optimise future content
- Work with marketing specialist to update the website, social media and content pages regularly
- Work with marketing specialist to manage the bi-annual review of website content to ensure currency and accuracy
- Manage the review, legal approval and signoff process to ensure that all content is compliant with appropriate copyright and data protection laws
Marketing
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Brand to execute the marketing strategy
- Marketing support and cross functional projects/activities as required
- Assist in the creation of marketing
- Adhere to the compliance obligations relevant to the position; perform duties in an ethical, lawful and safe manner; undertake training as directed by the risk and compliance team; report and escalate compliance concerns, issues and failures; and disclose potential conflicts of interest
Skills Required
- Teritary qualifications in marketing, communications visual arts or graphic design
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, copywriting, content creation role
- Excellent creative writing skills including expertise in editorial writing
- Ability to take strong briefs from ideation through to concept and implementation
- Ability to create engaging and compelling content
- Ability to communicate messages in simple yet compelling language
- Proven experience as a content creator, copywriter, or similar role
- Knowledge of design principles, typography, colour theory and layout techniques
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite – word, excel and powerpoint
- Proficiency in design tools including Adobe suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), graphics and video
- Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools such as social media engagement tools, email marketing software and content management systems
- Strong attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently maintaining high quality and accuracy
- Ability to understand and address specific needs of key audiences in content creation
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship management skills
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Multi-project management skills, adhering to timelines, managing stakeholders to achieve outcomes
- Preferred experience in financial services (banking, insurance, wealth)
