The Head of Creative Content will be instrumental in shaping and executing our brand's creative vision. As a seasoned creative leader, you will drive the artistic vision, oversee the development of compelling campaigns, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Head of Creative Content will lead a talented team of 4 individuals, fostering collaboration and innovation. Your passion for storytelling, design excellence, and brand authenticity will be instrumental in shaping R.M.Williams’ creative identity.
Overall, the Head of Creative Content plays a critical role in shaping the organisation's brand identity, engaging its audience, and driving business growth through compelling and effective content strategies.
Key objectives for the GM Commercial role will include:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor the Creative content team, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Develop and articulate the creative vision aligned with R.M.Williams’ brand plan and business objectives.
- Conceptualize and execute impactful marketing campaigns across digital, print, and experiential channels.
- Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from ideation to production, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Champion the R.M.Williams brand story, ensuring it resonates with our audience and reflects our heritage.
What we’re looking for:
The Head of Creative Content brings a combination of Creative flair and leadership demonstrated through their ability to craft captivating campaigns and inspire teams to new heights. With a deep understanding of our brand's identity, they maintain consistency while driving us forward. Their strategic approach aligns creative endeavours with business objectives, ensuring every effort contributes to our collective success. Additionally, their strong interpersonal skills foster collaboration, elevating ideas from good to great.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within Marketing or related role, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing Creative Content strategies across multiple platforms and formats.
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Deep understanding of digital media and content marketing principles to drive engagement, conversion, and brand loyalty.
- Proven experience in shoot art direction and photoshoot production.
