Creative Ops Managers drive the entire process from concept thorough delivery partnering with cross-functional teams to tackle business challenges for our customers. The creative ops/production team is responsible for uniting the team, delivering the best work, and problem solving solutions.We are looking for an Australia based Creative Ops Manager who will lead Afterpay International projects/productions within our brand studio team, from brief intake to delivery. Our Afterpay brand studio team collaborates and manages the creative process for marketing, sales, and product teams working on various projects from campaigns, digital, experiential, and more.The ideal person must have expertise in project management and integrated production. Essentially, we are seeking a versatile individual, a swiss army knife—a hybrid role combining program manager and producer responsibilities - someone who enjoys operations, project management, and production equally, valuing all three aspects with equal importance.This role will report to the Head of Creative Production (NY based) and work closely with our Head of Creative (Sydney based).You will:
  • Lead brand projects / programs, assuming responsibility for day-to-day management of the creative process (brief to deliver) and stakeholder involvement.
  • Work closely with creative and cross-functional teams to scope projects and build production approaches from briefs
  • Track project / program projects, maintenance, budget, timelines, communication of status, and ensuring efficient workflows
  • Onboarding new agencies, vendors, and freelancers while owning relationships.
  • Organize and lead project meetings, including developing agendas and capturing action items
  • Manage creative feedback and revisions to ensure project is on scope
  • Help develop process improvements for content production, setting up for future growth
  • Mitigate risk and be proactive on any potential project / program problems
  • Ensure the highest creative standards are achieved and on brand
  • Collaborate with business affairs and legal on large projects for legal sign-off
  • Be a brand champion and find moments of celebration for the team
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience producing/project management brand work at an agency or in-house brand/product team
  • Expert knowledge of production industry trends
  • Established network of creative, production, photography, illustration, and freelance partners
  • Ability to build relationships with marketing and product counterparts to ensure the creative that is being produced is thoughtful of all channel partner needs
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and juggling multiple projects at a time
  • You have the experience and tools to solve problems in your back pocket
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extreme empathy for the customer, your teammates, and the company mission
