Form of workCrèche Collective is currently on the search for new team members to join our workplace creche, located in Perth's CBD. We're looking for individuals that are warm, positive, and passionate about caring for little ones.
Our crèche is located within a large corporate office and offers ad hoc/casual care for ages from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. As a casual care service with low ratios, our emphasis is on creating a relaxed atmosphere, fostering play, and having fun!
We're currently recruiting for someone that has availability to work Mondays and Wednesdays (8am-5pm or afternoon/morning shift). We also have multiple openings for staff that can work full day shifts on a relief/fill-in basis, with the flexibility to pick up shifts as you like.
A few key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver fun and engaging activities, suitable to the ages of children in attendance.
- Interact in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner with children of all abilities and their parents.
- Ensure quality care and supervision of all children.
- Be aware of individual children's needs and provide for them appropriately e.g. nappy changes, nap times, bottles, snacks etc.
- Ensure records are maintained accurately for children attending the crèche.
The successful applicant must have:
- At least 2 years experience in the supervision & care of babies and toddlers
- Maintain a current First Aid certificate
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working with Children Check
- No childcare qualifications needed (a plus if you do though!)
- Be over the age of 18
