About Your Role
The Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE) coordinates and delivers high quality person-centred care in accordance with the relevant professional Australia Standards for Practice for health professionals, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health and Murrumbidgee LHD.
The CDE is responsible for the provision of safe, efficient and effective health interventions related to diabetes education and management within the community and hospital in-patient settings and to be a clinical resource person to the community and other health professionals in the area of diabetes.
