An exciting opportunity has become available for a Credit Customer Service Representative to join the Computershare Utility Services (CUS) – Unitywater Revenue Operations Team based in Maroochydore.

The position of Credit Customer Service representative forms part of the Revenue Operations Team. This team is responsible for many of the key activities for water accounts and customer service. This role involves contacting customers, maintaining, and updating their account data, also the processing of billing payments and assisting customers to pay their account via effective payment arrangements. This role performs Customer service and collections functions, however at other times you may be required to support the entire operations team.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Contacting customers via Phone, SMS, Post or Email to set up payment arrangements, including hardship arrangements
- Undertake administrative activities, including system work queues.
- Ensure that all items are processed within client agreed time frames
- Adherence to all policies and procedures of both Computershare and the client
- Actively participate in team discussions, meetings, and other team forums, to impart knowledge and ideas that result in team decisions
- To be considered for this position, you will understand how to provide exceptional customer service.
- You must also be able to successfully multi-task
- A passion for providing quality and efficient customer service
- Can build rapport rapidly and effectively over multiple forms of customer communication
- Outstanding listening, oral and written communication skills for gathering and providing information from customers
- Excellent negotiating skills to ensure a satisfactory result for the customer and the business
- Strong administrative experience and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- Fast learner to adapt to multiple systems and processes
- A high level of initiative, tackling problems in a methodical and logical manner
