Regional Australia Banks' Credit team is expanding, and we are seeking a dynamic Credit Manager to join us.

The position

As Credit Manager (Business) you will have a focus on managing SME lending decisions, as well as Commercial and Consumer lending.  The position has responsibility for evaluating sometimes complex applications, determining creditworthiness, conducting risk assessments, and making recommendations, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

This is a collaborative position that works closely with the credit risk team and our lending specialists and managers, and is able to actively contribute to process improvement.

You

You are someone with strong financial analysis skills, with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail. Your experience in a Credit Analyst/Lending role, preferably in banking will enable you to confidently assess applications. Reflecting the organisation's current underwriting standards, policies, and risk appetite, you will be able to effectively explain decisions in a constructive manner and be proactive in providing suggestions or alternatives to make the risk acceptable.
