We have done it again! For the 4th consecutive year ING Australia has been recognised by Canstar as Australia's most recommended bank and we're on the hunt for an experienced Credit Risk Modelling Manager - Integrative Risk.
What we’re building is something special, a state-of-the-art risk management function, ensuring that the requirements of regulators, ING head office and ING Australia senior management are all embedded into the day-to-day functioning of the business.
You’ll be part of the charge, pushing the transformation towards more data driven decision making and the continuous development in the risk management function in ING Australia via utilising analytical skills, systems knowledge and risk experience
You’ll be at the forefront developing, maintaining and enhancing superior risk models reflecting our customer behaviours and meeting internal and external requirements. You’ll also be responsible for (IRB) model development, stress testing, scenario analysis, climate change, resolution and recovery planning, ICAAP, Pillar 3 reporting and regulatory compliance with the prudential standards across all portfolios.

What you’ll do
Model development and Analytics; collect data, perform analytics and develop models on the ING Australia portfolio to understand risk and customer behaviour
Investigate external and internal data sources; providing visualisation of data patterns to ensure IRB compliance; linking various data sources
Design model methodologies, perform model maintenance and model implementation activities
Present results in committees, locally and globally
Represent ING Australia in global and industry working groups
Develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of the Bank’s data and risk policies including Head Office systems.
What are we looking for
Intermediate to advanced level of SAS and SQL; R skills would considered highly advantageous
Knowledge of statistical and risk manage techniques and risk related regulations
5+ years’ experience in a risk analytics role, actuarial analytics or equivalent, preferably within banking/insurance services
Knowledge of prudential standards related to modelling and climate risk would be desirable
Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to perform with tight deadlines
The ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
