As ING’s Credit Risk Modelling Manager in our Retail Credit Risk team, you’ll develop, evaluate and monitor new and existing business critical Credit Risk models in accordance with internal and external requirements.
You’ll be responsible for delivering credit modelling assignments which involve data modelling and model development, financial forecasting and economic analysis. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert on Credit Risk models and data to both local and global stakeholders.

What you’ll do
- Perform complex Credit Risk evaluation and/or modelling to maximize profits and asset growth.
- Develop decision models: application, behavioural models & collection segmentation based on actual experience and the latest advances in risk management technology.
- Develop business critical statistical models including IRB, IFRS9, application and behavioural scorecards, Early Warning System (EWS) models and stress-testing for the retail Credit Risk portfolios.
- Spearhead the maintenance of the ING's retail Credit Risk models, as well as ensuring technical model documentation is aligned with prudential, legal and business requirements.
- Practical knowledge of APS113 and other standard regulatory requirements for Credit Risk.
- Advanced level of SAS (essential) and SQL; R, Python or Machine learning (credit decisioning systems) experience will be viewed as highly advantageous.
- 4+ years in credit modelling with experience managing statistical modelling involving large amounts of data.
- Sound knowledge of banking products and trends in banking industry.
- Relevant Australian market experience with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
