ALG presents an exciting opportunity for a Crew Scheduler to join one of our aviation clients based in Brisbane Airport. This position entails providing scheduling support to Flight Operations and Training Management, overseeing the scheduling of flight crew, traveling engineers, and operations controllers. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with Training Management on training and competency assessment scheduling. The role also involves furnishing accurate data and information to Flight Operations Management, as well as coordinating with the OCC Manager for roster recovery post-Day-of-Ops.
As the central point of contact between flight operations, ground operations, and training, you will optimize flight crew pairings, manage fatigue requirements, and plan crew vacation bidding. Your pivotal role includes evaluating future schedules and offering feedback to the business based on identified flight crew impact and cost considerations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in crew scheduling within the aviation industry, specifically in scheduling flight operations within a fast-paced regulatory-constrained environment.
- A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred, or NCEA Level 3.
- CAR Part 121 Operations Experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated track record of strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in relevant scheduling software and Windows literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
