About the Role
Our client, an internationally recognised company, are looking for a technician to service their clientele. Working both in house & onsite, this role will see you install new equipment, service & maintenance of existing machinery (pallet wrapping and other packaging machines) as well as training clients.
Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail along with your ability to problem solve will see you succeed in this role.

Duties:
- set up and install machinery, provide troubleshooting support to technicians & customers
- maintain and repair parts systems, provide pro-active servicing to customers offsite & ensure all machinery in house is in full working order
- test machinery for diagnostics, and repair parts (wiring and electronic)
- train and advise users and customers on correct and safe operating procedures of the machinery
- ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner and liaise closely with other key stakeholders within the organization, as well as external and internal customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieved
- provide great customer service with a high degree of professionalism and presentation
Skills and Experience:[KVDB2]
- ‘A’ Grade Electrical License (desirable but not essential)
- Hold a Nationally Accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
- Minimum 3+ years in a similar role
- Valid VIC Driver Licence
- Broad exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment/machinery
- Ability to communicate technical issues in a simplified manner to customers
- Able to work autonomously
- Basic computer skills
