CDLA is one of Sydney’s leading Criminal Defence law firms based in Sydney, and located a short walk from the Downing Centre Court. Our team of lawyers appear across all courts specialising in Criminal and Traffic Law. We work on some of Sydney’s high profile and serious crime cases.
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate Criminal Defence Lawyer to join our growing team to work from our Sydney CBD head office located.
You will work with our team of lawyers and instruct some of Australia’s leading barristers across a broad range of interesting cases. You'll be required to hit the ground running with cases, conduct client consultations, attend court and work well in a team whilst maintaining a high level of communications.
We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and desire to progress.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1-5 years PAE (candidates who are recently admitted will also be considered and encouraged to apply).
- Passion in criminal law.
- Ability to comply with established policies and practices is essential.
- Highly organised, with excellent communication & time management skills.
- Capable of working in a dynamic and high pressure environment with strong work ethic.
- A current NSW driver licence
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Take carriage of a wide range of criminal and traffic law matters.
- Work autonomously.
- Be competent in daily court appearances (or ability to learn).
- Attend courts across NSW.
