Jameson Law is currently looking for a criminal lawyer who has a track record of providing unparalleled client service and results. Work week may be split across our offices in Sydney (Barangaroo) and Western Sydney (Parramatta).

We are looking for candidates who are very experienced in their field, ready to take full carriage of their matters and manage their cases with support from an experienced and efficient team of paralegals and clerks. 

The role

You will be working in a dynamic Criminal Defence team culture that recognises your achievements and ready to assist you as required to obtain exceptional outcomes for every client. Your responsibilities will include:

• working autonomously
• proficiently onboarding and running matters 
• delegating tasks/matters as required
• managing your case load to ensure:
  • a guaranteed high standard of output
  • increase efficiency within the department
  • maintain exceptional client service and response times
  • obtain excellent results for our clients.

You'll need to have:

• At least 2 years experience post-admission.
• Experience across a wide range of Criminal Defence matters
• Experience preparing briefs and assisting in trials
• Have exceptional time management skills
• Comfortable with new technology and systems
• A solid understanding of maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.
• Drafting court documents/applications, contracts, settlement documentation and correspondence
• Negotiation and Client management
• A proven track record in delivering exceptional results in your field
• a current NSW practising certificate
• A current driver licence, as travel will be involved

You must be able to conduct your own thorough research and come to satisfactory conclusions/solutions on your own accord. You must also have exceptional communication skills and charisma that inspire trust and confidence in clients and colleagues.
