Every Patient Matters.Job DescriptionOptions exist for full time, part time or Casual Registered Nurses to join the Epworth Eastern Intensive Care Unit, comprising of 12 ICU beds and procedure areas.These opportunities are open to experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses with experience in ICU and/or CCU. At Epworth Eastern, our ICU is renowned for its friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere along with excellent care that is delivered to its patients.To be successful in this role:You need to be passionate about patient centred care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes.You are a strong communicator, with a supportive and engaging style that enables you to easily build rapport with colleagues, Visiting Medical Officers, patients and their families.Excellent with your time management and organisation skills, you can prioritise effectively to manage competing demands.Qualification & Experience requiredCurrent registration with AHPRA.Experience working in ICU and/or CCU.Competency and confidence in managing acute situations.A Post Graduate certificate or diploma in Critical Care nursingCardiothoracic experience highly desiredPosition Description Inherent DescriptionAbout Epworth EasternLocated in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility and has 15 theatres and expansion of ICU to 12 beds.
