In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team in the Critical Care space, as we prepare to move to a new unit at our Fitzroy campus.The Intensive Care Unit (ICU), St Vincent's Private Hospital Fitzroy, is an tertiary level facility; Surgical Specialities include; Cardiothoracic, Thoracic, Gastrointestinal, Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Surgery.Our ICU Team comprises is fully supported by ICU Consultants and registrars affiliated with St. Vincent's Public Hospital. Educational support and coaching is available to all staff. We take pride in delivering a 'boutique learning environment' for RN's looking to transition into Critical Care Nursing, and ability to deliver an individualised program for staff, with appropriate hurdle requirements and competency standards, providing a clear Segway into Post Graduate Critical Care Nursing programs.To be successful in your role you will have a desire to deliver advanced Critical Care nursing skills, an enthusiasm for the delivery of excellence in patient care, and the ability to learn and implement skills as they apply to our patient cohort.WHY WORK FOR SVPHM:

ABOUT YOU:

• You have ICU experience in an acute hospital and / or have completed a post graduate qualification in Critical Care nursing (ICU)
• You provide high quality patient centred care through your well-developed assessment, clinical reasoning, problem -solving and prioritisation skills
• You have great communication, interpersonal skills, and work well both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
