AddressAn exciting career opportunity has become available for a hands-on and experienced Cropping Manager to join the team at Delta Pastoral Enterprises which has numerous rural properties throughout Western Victoria. This position will cover the 4000Ha aggregation of properties in close proximity to Berrybank with the major focus being 2800Ha or cropping in conjunction with 5000 self-replacing Primeline ewes.
Position:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, self-motivated person with considerable Broadacre cropping experience. This full-time position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the cropping program. Duties will focus on delivering the cropping plan in conjunction with agronomist, contractors and staff.
This position will require the successful applicant to report to and work with the Delta Pastoral Manager as well as liaise with contractors and suppliers. You will be actively involved in planning and will be responsible for delivering on planned activities.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive broadacre cropping experience
- Competent operation and maintenance of various farm machinery/equipment including a new John Deere SP sprayer
- A strong work ethic and commitment to working safely
- Ability to record information and communicate effectively in the workplace
- Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail, both without supervision and as part of a team
- A current HR drivers licence
- A genuine passion for agriculture
“Berrybank Station” has three full time staff and is close to nearby towns, schools and attractions: Lismore (10 mins) Ballarat (45 mins) The Great Ocean Road (60 mins) and Geelong (60 mins).
