We are committed to providing the best pub experience in town for everyone that visits us. One of two original pubs, the Exchange Hotel represents the history of Kalgoorlie, a gold mining outpost 600km East of Perth. 

The centre point of entertainment in Kalgoorlie, the Wild West Saloon, Kalgoorlie’s favourite front-bar and Paddy’s Eat & Drink, a family friendly restaurant with modern pub menu.

We are seeking individuals to work with a large and highly skilled team at the Exchange Hotel.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Ensure guests entering the venue are greeted.
• Work Friday and Saturday nights.
• Ensure all guests entering the venue are ID checked.
• Work with front of house staff and management to ensure guests are not nearing a point of intoxication.
• Dealing with control of small crowds in the front bars.
• Assisting Managers with refusing entry to guest showing signs of intoxication.
• Ensure guests leaving the venue are farewelled in a good manor.
• Work with Management to remove troublesome guests from the venue is required.

Job Requirements:

• Neat and tidy personal presentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively to guests, of all ages.
• Maintain respect for all visiting the venue.
• Current WA Approved Managers Card (Must have)
• Able to show initiative and work cohesively with Management.
• Able to easily complete forms as directed by Management.
• Physically fit able to be on your feet all night.
