The projects

Opportunity to work on a new open cut mining project in WA. With a life expectancy of 26 years, we're still at the start of this mines exciting journey. The contract involves the construction of the mine site facilities. Including the living hub, air strip, internal roads, and drainage.

• FIFO from Perth
• FIFO in company time - get paid as soon as you step on the charter flight

The duties

As an experienced loader operator within the civil and mining industry, you will enjoy working in a close-knit crushing team of operators and trades. Duties include;-

• Operating CAT 966, 980, 988 and 992 loaders (mainly)
• Operating excavators and mobile crushing plant (from time to time/ where capable)
• General labouring duties on site (where needed, during machinery downtime/ maintenance)
• Daily machinery checks
• Liaising with other operators and supervisors on shift
• Following the sites safety protocol

Your value

To be successful in this role you will come from a background operating CAT loaders on civil or mining projects. Previous FIFO experience is not essential however highly regarded.

The successful candidates will have the following:

• MC drivers license
• Excavator or mobile crushing experience (highly regarded not essential)
• Construction white card
• A hard-working nature and committed to their role
• Team player, that can also work autonomously
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical
• Excellent safety values
