We have some exciting opportunities due to increased scopes on our ongoing project works, and as such we are now seeking a number of Leading Hand Crushing Operators to join our professional onsite crushing team on a 2/1 roster DIDO Boddington, WA in this rare offerring in a much sought after project location.

As a Leading Hand you will have or have attributable to you:

  • Previous demonstratable Leading Hand Crushing Operating Experience - mobile preferred
  • Atleast 3 years Operating experience (Prior to Leading Hand Experience)
  • Current Drivers License - must be valid - HR is preferred
  • Loader Ticketed and Experienced
  • Excavator Ticketed and Experienced
  • Construction Card
  • Applied First Aid Certification
  • Section 44 training or Statutory supervisor AQTF level 4 Risk Management (RIIRIS402E or
  • BSBWHS414) and Supervisory (BSBWHS411) - highly regarded
  • Leadership training - highly regarded
  • Strong adherance to our think Safe Act Safe safety cultures
  • Ability to lead and influence by example
  • Excellent communcation and client facing skills
  • Ability to apply for a National Police Clearance through a platform selected by our client - meeting with the requirements of a gold minesite providers' requirements to be able to approve your access to site.
  • Possess your own reliable vehicle to allow you to drive in and out of Boddington on a fortnightly basis ( or daily should you live with close proximity to site).
  • Currently live in Perth WA - Metro, or live within the Peel region of WA

Your role will see you

  • Ensuring project execution is undertaken safely to the required standards, quality and schedule.
  • Daily and weekly planning to ensure plant, personnel and materials are on-site when required.
  • Informing crew daily of work planned, timelines and resources available.
  • Conducting OHS&E pre-start each day prior to work commencing.
  • Ensuring the standard and quality of work by checking construction is to correct line and level according to specifications, standards and documents.
  • Reviewing work program, timelines, plant and personnel planned for each project with the Supervisor.
  • Assigning job tasks to each crew member considering their past experiences and capabilities.
  • Ensuring sites are safe for work and work is carried out safely.
  • Ensuring plant logs are completed.
  • Organising tand completing maintenance activities and prestart inspections in a timely manner to reduce breakdowns and downtime of plant and equipment.
  • Providing support, advice and assistance to the crew.
  • Attending and participating in site Tool Box Meetings to identify areas for improvement in the field & contribute.
  • Compliance with any and all statutory, regulatory, governance and legislative requirements without exception.
  • Ensure production targets are met.
  • Ensure plant utilisation is optimised and damage is minimised.
  • Ensure submission of daily and weekly reports as required including timesheets and pre-starts
