About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Albury Wodonga Private Hospital’s Clinical departments.
This role is a critical part of the surgical process that will see you working efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines.
Reporting to the CSSD Manager, you will work closely with an efficient and supportive professional team to assist the perioperative team to deliver the best care for our patients.
Duties may include but are not limited to;
- Providing timely sterile products, trays, and equipment where applicable
- You will be rotated in various allocated areas in the department
- You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department
What You’ll Bring
- To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum Cert 3 qualification in Sterilising Services
- Prior experience working in a Sterilising Unit
- Your positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team and independently as required
- You will be customer service oriented in both internal and external settings
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
