About the role:
The Curriculum Coordinator, situated within the Academic Services team in the Faculty of Health, plays a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of providing comprehensive support across the Faculty. The Curriculum Coordinator will play a vital role in overseeing and supporting course and curriculum development and implementation, reviews, revisions, and CRICOS registration, including stakeholder management, ensuring our academic programs are delivered to a high standard. They will also coordinate curriculum systems and provide leadership and support for external professional body course accreditation and re-accreditation.
As a Curriculum Coordinator you will:
- Act as a coach and work with team members to facilitate growth and development through balanced and constructive feedback.
- Distil the core issues from complex course and curriculum information, draw accurate conclusions and condense complex information into simple terms that others can understand.
- Seek feedback on improvement opportunities to course and curriculum process, practices and systems from a diverse range of key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement practical solutions to stakeholder needs, overcoming obstacles to achieve change.
- Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of potential students, stakeholders or key and influential individuals across the University.
- Strive for excellence and consult regularly with clients to clarify information needs, purpose, criteria for success and timing for advice and recommendations.
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
- Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
- Proven experience in communications, marketing, events management, or a related field
- Experience and knowledge of course and curriculum practice and process in an education environment
