Job description

About the role:The role involves managing customer accounts, focusing on Premier accounts, maintaining business levels through regular contact and selling products and services, identifying growth opportunities, and developing these customers to drive sales growth.Collaborate with the Sales team to manage commercial decisions with customer accounts, utilizing negotiation and influence. Develop a local business plan to optimize sales performance and feed into national forecasting.This role will require to provide an exceptional level of service to established and prospective RS customers relating to all RS products. You will assist customers in understanding our products and identify solutions to fit their needs, generating sales and renewals, whilst continuing to achieve customer satisfaction levels.Also responsible for delivering an effortless customer experience with emphasis on Premier accounts by ensuring all customer requirements are completely met through proactive communication, high quality service and by being customer focused. To contribute to achieving the company sales objectives through value added activities.Responsibilities:The role involves customer qualification, identifying sales opportunities within the Portfolio, prioritizing growth opportunities for premier customers, and delivering exceptional customer service across all channels to meet all order and enquiry needs while maintaining service level agreements.Providing effortless customer experience by proactively communicating to the customers on any updates or changes on their orders / enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.Working with stakeholders to resolve all customer concerns within the appropriate SLA will help to ensure customer happiness and minimize complaints.The individual effectively collaborates across various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and provides first class customer experience.Managing sales targets and KPIs, focusing on Premier accounts.Generating and qualifying sales lead opportunities for profitable growth.Maintaining a quarterly sales account plan for managing Premier customer based on local business strategy.Delivering sales, leads, margin growth, insight, and contact acquisition through telephone conversations. Coordinating face-to-face visit requirements.The individual demonstrates strong commercial awareness, providing quotes and discount investments, and ensuring sales targets align with customer expectations, while also acquiring market trends and competitor offerings.Use of initiative to identify and develop opportunities with companies not currently on the database.Contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through regular one-to-ones, team meetings and ad hoc feedbackIf you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:Proactive and driven in all aspects of work and be able to operate without daily supervision.Target-driven and competitive by nature.Highly motivated with probing tenacity to achieve and exceed objectives.Seizes on opportunities to create a high performing culture.Naturally strong interpersonal skills forming and maintaining positive relationship at all levels.Proven ability in delivering a great customer service experience.Effective negotiator and influencer with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate complex solutions simply and concisely.Disciplined analytical approach to problem solving.Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skillShows respects to others and values differing opinions and perspectives.Shows a desire to continuously learn and develop.Takes ownership and is confident to take risks and learn from them.The ideal candidate should have experience in an inbound/outbound call centre environment, knowledge of SAP and Microsoft.#LI-Onsite#LI-TS1
