The Role

As a Customer Onboarding Account Manager, you will partner with hospitality venues acting as their primary contact as you guide them through the end-to-end onboarding process, from sign-up to being fully operational with Chewzie.

You’ll act as the project coordinator for your assigned customers, taking the lead in ensuring these clients are moved efficiently through the onboarding journey while maintaining excellent rapport and relationships along the way. This includes spending quality time onsite at venues and advocating for venue staff engagement and the Chewzie brand.

Applicants must be available between Tuesday and Saturday and be comfortable working flexible hours in venues from cafes to nightclubs. Regardless of your hours, we make sure that you have time to rest and recover!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Travelling to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, liaising with customers and using your skills in persuasion to get them comfortable and confident with the system;
  • Working alongside clients and Chewzie’s menu, build a team to get venues onboarded and operating confidently while sharing insights for improvement and best practices;
  • Reviewing performance reports and keeping in touch with venues during the period immediately following Chewzie implementation to ensure they are running smoothly,
  • Attending venues during their first busy periods with Chewzie set up, working alongside venue staff and customers to encourage the adoption of Chewzie ordering processes
  • Training front-of-house staff and managers in using the front end and back end of the system;
  • Installing basic hardware at client venues; and
  • Ensuring hospitality partners receive an incredible experience!

You must have a valid Australian driver's license.

Who We're Looking For

  • Applicants with a background in hospitality and/or experience working with POS software 
  • If you're a confident communicator who can advocate for our brand and our clients - we want to hear from you!
  • As you'll be working closely with our clients on-site, you will be confident speaking in a corporate environment with B2B stakeholders, highly organised and adaptable. You'll be supported by a team of experts within the business and get the chance to collaborate with our technical team and sales team when required.
  • A big part of this role is the ability to drive change and lead change management within a venue in how they, and their customers, operate. You'll be fearless when navigating potential barriers to new process adoption or client pushback to get achieve great outcomes and ensure our clients love their partnership!  
  • A high standard of presentation and a personable, social and enthusiastic personality will be key to your success.
  • Importantly, strong organisation and time management skills (this is a fast-paced team within our busy company!) will be key, as will both the ability to follow processes and think on your feet!
