Customer Relations Specialist - Freight Forwarder

Customer service role with a Freight Forwarder, training provided where required if you are an operations expert who wants to move to customer service

Our Client
As a provider of end to end logistics solutions with offices spanning the globe work for a well-known Freight Forwarder.
The Position
This is a critical role based in the client services team where you will be accountable for:

• Developing relationships and managing a portfolio of clients
• Liaising with customers and internal team to ensure adherence to SOP's
• Monitoring and keeping clients updated with shipment status and exceptions
• Recognising opportunities to develop further business and attending joint sales visits
• Arrange collections and deliveries of empty containers
• Co-ordinate deliveries of containers to the terminals
• Prepare and issue invoices.
• Providing assistance and resolving customer complaints regarding service issues

The Requirements
To be considered for this role you require:

• Freight forwarding experience - operations or customer service (required within the Australian market)
• Confident phone manner & enjoys talking to customers
• Ability to identify and meet customer needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial attitude
• CargoWise experience not essential
• Full working rights within Australia
