Customer service role with a Freight Forwarder, training provided where required if you are an operations expert who wants to move to customer service
Our ClientAs a provider of end to end logistics solutions with offices spanning the globe work for a well-known Freight Forwarder.
The Position
This is a critical role based in the client services team where you will be accountable for:
- Developing relationships and managing a portfolio of clients
- Liaising with customers and internal team to ensure adherence to SOP's
- Monitoring and keeping clients updated with shipment status and exceptions
- Recognising opportunities to develop further business and attending joint sales visits
- Arrange collections and deliveries of empty containers
- Co-ordinate deliveries of containers to the terminals
- Prepare and issue invoices.
- Providing assistance and resolving customer complaints regarding service issues
To be considered for this role you require:
- Freight forwarding experience - operations or customer service (required within the Australian market)
- Confident phone manner & enjoys talking to customers
- Ability to identify and meet customer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial attitude
- CargoWise experience not essential
- Full working rights within Australia
- Parking on-site
