As a result of our branch continuing to grow, an opportunity has arisen to appoint a motivated, focused and professional team player who is committed to giving all our customers an experience second to none.
We have a position that has become available within our enthusiastic, motivated administration and Customer Service team, experience is not necessary, we will help you to grow and develop your skills, all you need is a willingness to learn & a positive attitude, be dedicated & proud to be a part of our ever growing and very passionate team.
This position is permanent full-time Monday to Friday, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career through the Mainfreight Transport business.
The ideal candidate will require both strong interpersonal and great time management skills, a commitment to follow up and follow through issues, a positive “can-do” attitude, and good computer skills.
To be successful, the applicant will need to possess the following skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliability, punctuality, and good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Strong organisational skills and self motivation
- Ability to prioritize work effectively within a pressurised environment
- Energy, passion, and a desire to progress through the Mainfreight business
- Above average computer and MS Office knowledge
Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- General Administration & Customer Service
- Liaising with customers and reporting estimated arrival times
- Liaising with drivers and consignees for proof of deliveries
- Taking and entering daily pick ups
- Liaising with internal and external customers and contractors to ensure an efficient and effect service
- Maintaining existing customer profiles
